There is, as I understand it, a whole science of sort, dedicated to nothing but the study and interpritation of dreams. I've to wonder what sort of a meaning these people would attribute to a dream in which one was feasting upon one's cooked and garnished pet or a family member

Good golly miss molly. It was rather awful up until earlier today. My natural hair colour is a rather light shade of blonde and my roots had
grown out to monstrous lengths. Today, however, I had my hair appointment and the problem has been remedied somewhat. The style has changed
vastly also, although it is still slanted over one eye - perhaps a bit sleeker and meaner, giving my face a rather elongated appearance.

I usually don't attempt at interpreting dreams -- but I'm a writer who has consumed a few cocktails, is feeling thoughtful, and loves your jacket and tie. so here's my take on it:

Your beloved kitty cat could symbolize something that you have control over, something you're not afraid of...so perhaps you're moving forward with something in your life. Totally jumping a hurdle..whether it be a project at work that you're completing, starting a new job, finally confronting a friend who dicked you over, or perhaps moving forward in a relationship....

but by the shock of your finding out what was the main course makes me think ...that...

Your kitty is also something you love...so by, umm...well, seeing the kitty as the main course for consumption, maybe you're realizing that something in your life that you had put highest priority on is not worth as much effort as you have put into it.

But, really, who knows?

I do know that I hope you have more pleasant dreams tonight.
