Man, I totally hear ya on stuff getting waylaid because it slipped your mind. =( *Does that all the time* And also on how long it takes to do a post... My average for vK is about two hours of concentrated effort, and I've gotten way behind on replying to non-RP-related comments.

All I can say is to hang in there. <33333

Any way you can reduce your credit card limit? That's kinda what I do. That way, you're still building credit, but it keeps you from like....going ten thousand dollars into debt or something adjfsf.

But yeah, I'm sorry you're feeling down bb. :( Just listen to more Adam Lambert I'm not sure what advice to really give since I'm no time management god either, though it sounds like you're on your way to solving some things with talking to your doctor. I'm...kind of easily distracted myself, so I end up using any number of organizers I can get my hands on to help me. u___u I star LJ comment notifs in my Inbox that I haven't replied to yet, and I have post-it notes on my notebooks and electronic task lists in Gmail and ReminderFox and my phone's scheduler. All four of which are telling me to do the same thing. Sob. Maybe something along those lines might be worth giving a shot? I think it's good to recognize where you're having trouble, and then go about strategizing how you can accomplish what others find come naturally to them ( ... )

I'm sorry that you've been having a hard time. Some of it might also be due to the stress and general disorientation of starting a new school. Plus you aren't used to have to pay those bills, etc. Like Maia said, constant reminders for that sort of stuff is good. I just keep the emails about my rent and about my credit card bill in my inbox and let them sit there so I have to stare at them all the time, for instance.

Feeling anxious about simple stuff is possibly also part of your problem? But if you really feel like you need to see a doctor about it, then that might be the way to go.

Well, I'm not sure how you'd be able to pay off the credit card bill without the money coming from somewhere - I'd really suggest not doing the minimum payment because it will keep building and building - if it's possible, maybe try to pay the full amount you owe and each month, do it the same? It might help to think of it as a debit card with a month delay on it, and give yourself no choice in your head but to pay it upfront when the bill rolls around, even if it's a small amount.

Not really sure on using credit card bills to pay other bills - got to admit that's unfamiliar to me (I've seen it done with just personal checks).

Uh, not sure on utility bills - my roomie comes at me with the utility stuff and goes "YOU OWE ME MONEY" and for the personal stuff, I just take the envelopes and stick them in one highly visible spot, like near a computer. Not sure if that'd work for you, you might have another way of organizing that works better personally.
