So today I had a nice night's rest (for once) and then replied to some LoM/DW crossover-related comments and was basically like "Yeah, I love Sam/Gene even more than Doctor/Master now! Pretty crazy, huh?" And then my brain apparently was like "OH NO YOU DIN'T" because then took a shower and went back to my bed and got sleepy and napped for one ( Read more... )

THIS IS AMAZING. I encourage you to write the fic, because that dream description on its own was incredibly gripping.

I AM GLAD YOU ENJOYED READING MY CRAZY MIND'S CONJURINGS. And man, I might very well have to, though I can only hope to convey at least in some part how intense the Doctor's POV was, because... damn.

I know, right sfjhaksf. THE MOFFATNESS. And the thing that blew my mind the most in retrospect was that my brain turned me into Eleven. My brain turned me into Eleven. IT JUMPED TO A DIFFERENT TRAIN OF EVENTS AND YET WITH CANON-BASED CONTINUITY AND THE SAME GOAL??? But yeah, seriously, overall, it was... incredibly logical and chronological, and even embedded details and then PAID THEM OFF later, like the blender and sketchbook. I just. How.

And also, so I don't spam my tumblr dash: Thanks again for all the longfic support -- the project is something close to my heart and my motivation to write it has been so internalized for so long that it's really amazing and relieving to hear encouragement from other people. I DON'T WANT TO MAKE YOU THINK THAT IT WILL BE ALL PUPPIES AND RAINBOWS, THOUGH, because I am planning for it to get really, really, very dark before the dawn, (I'm, uh, evil), but I hope all the horribleness is worth reading through for the ultimate endgame when I finally finish the thing.
