I STILL have water in my ear. I made myself an appointment to see the doctor on Thursday. My mom told me to lie down with a heating pad on my ear. I don't have a heating pad(the cats killed it a few years ago and I never got a new one). She also advised me to put some drops of warm oil in my ear. I'll do that one as a last resort as I'm not too

Did your cold ever go full blast or were you able to stifle it with Vitamin C??

They used to put tubes in the ears of children who got a lot of ear infections caused by water in the ears. It was a short surgery they did where the doctor cut a tiny hold in the ear(not sure exactly where, maybe the drum?),and put a tiny metal thing(tube)in the hole so the water could drain out. The hole would eventually heal and the tube would fall out. The thing they called the tube wasn't really a tube at all but looked exactly like a sewing machine bobbin only much smaller. I wish I would have saved one. The thing was that when you had tubes in your ears you could not get the inside of your ear wet so I had to wear wax ear plugs all the time and remember having to go back to the doctor a lot because I just jumped into the pool without thinking about it.
How scary to wake up in the middle of the night and have a horrible ringing in your ear! I think I would have screamed.
