I finally got my hands on the last book of Harry Potter at the library here no less! Gulp it up in three bites. It is....a disappointment I suppose, yet I can't say I have been expecting more. In the first few chapters, I remember why I got disillusioned by this series. Harry Potter is way too self-centred and well, hero shipped for my liking. It's

I never understood the Ginny x Harry coupling either... yet somehow that's the way it worked out and T-T well the epilogue too lol. x_x Anyway, it started in the 6th I believe, when he started feeling like he wanted to tear Dean (Ginny's bf at the time) to shreds, just for being with Ginny.
No, it wasn't as good or dark as her older ones... like the Half Blood Prince. I was really expecting something like that in the last one, and the hunt for the Hocruxes wasn't -that- satisfying... I was expecting something like the cave again.
Snape was awesome in the end. =) But he had to die in the end. T-T Rather sad...

Yes, I finally got my hands on it..mwahaha! (did you buy the book?)
Actually, I wanted Ginny x Harry in Chamber of Secrets, so it was a disappointment that Harry seems so sure of his non-existent romantic feelings towards Ginny at that time. I got over it, and suddenly it got thrown into my face just like that...so it was quite a wtf moment for me. Can't helped but feel that my feelings have been toyed with.
Yes, I think Half-Blood Prince was pretty bloody and dark, and yea, Deathly Hallows feels like a let down after that...I was expecting...Volermot to do more evil before being killed. =(
Snape was awesome, but no one sees it!! I mean...I'm not surprised he died, but THE WAY he went...just like that! Quite anti-climax, or rather, I'll prefer if he's part of the climax...if you know what I mean...maybe in front of everyone or at least trying to do something...>.> they didn't mention about it all until the epilogue as part of the "great past headmasters". blah!

It would've been sweeter if they got together then, instead of the Cho insert and the randomness of Harry's sudden feelings for Ginny. ._. lol. I see what you mean though about feeling as if your feelings were toyed with. XD;
It was! It was nothing compared to Half-Blood... i really expected more. And the way things got resolved seemed so simple and... just there. T-T I guess once Dumbledore is gone, all amazement is gone too. -.-
Yea, it was expected that he'd die. I was personally ok with the way he died though, it seemed very Voldemort like to do that. It would've been a better end for him in front of people though, but I'm not sure how Rowling could've pulled that off. O_o He went "in secret" in "seclusion" and sorta behind the scenes... which was sorta the way he operated the entire time; with secrets etc. I guess that's why I thought it fit.

Anyway, your library like very updated hor, even the newest HP book also have. Me reading the 6th book only now, I also feel a bit like 'What the..?!' for the Harry and Ginny part. I was also like didn't he reject her in the 2nd book?? Makes me feel that Ginny is like just a replacement for Cho...(I liked Harry+Cho better actually, so I really dun like how Rowling just broke them off like that without any proper explanation)
And same as u, I dun support Ron/Hermione too, I think Hermione is still better off with Krum. But u ah, thought you dun like sad endings one...or maybe u just dun like Harry Potter la, haha.
Oh, so Snape died ah? Good for him then, he likes Lily meh? (Ok la, can somehow imagine) Btw, Voldemort died already mah? And did Dumbledore come back to life ah?
