I'd like to see a bit more electronica. Top 5 lists annoy me sometimes so the last 5-10 electronica artists you listened to. feel free to include reasons as to why you liked them, or if you didn't like them but were checking them out please include reasons why you didn't. thankyou.

Oval - This was some stuff off a 12 inch, I can't remember the title right now. I was under the impression it wasn't their best work, and to me it wasn't that engaging or exciting.

Tarwater - There new album is in heavy rotation at the college radio station. Boring, nothing that interesting, and the singer's voice is horrible.

I just listened to the Aphex Twin - 26 Mixes for Cash album. Obviously not a serious album, but fun. It has it's high points and lows. I really like the reworking of "Heroes".

MU - for some reason I'd thought that they'd be fun, not annoying. I was wrong.

Tussle - They probably get a lot of club play, but there's better stuff to dance too.

I also just got a hold of "OHM-Early Gurus of Electronic Music Vol.1" that's got some good stuff, and has giving me good leads.

I probably haven't exposed my self to the best Electronica artists yet, and it is a weak area.

MU are awesome. dislike of them is usually an auto-no but your other stuff seems pretty cool so I don't wanna say no.

I could definently see getting drunk and dancing to them, but it's hard to just casually listen to them.

I have a lot of stuff by Jazz singers, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. As for instrumental jazz I enjoy Chet Baker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Sun Ra. I also have a few Jazz comps that have given me stuff to explore.

I always had a negative predisposition to Jazz after being forced to go the whitest "Jazz on the Lawn" concerts as a child.
