So, I went to confession. I confessed some stuff I have been holding back for quite a while now. My sins sounded so strange coming out of my own mouth. The priest was not shocked. He told me to remember that God loved me- that I was forgiven. I felt fully inside my body, I was not floating above my sins, I was there and present ( Read more... )

Faith is not something you own. You don’t become saved and then God stops working within you. Faith is a process, faith is a journey, and faith is a gift. A gift we choose to accept or reject.

That is beautiful. In fact, I sent it to one of my friends who's in the process of, I believe, discovering Christ.

Your posts are always encouraging to me.

It's really a big determent the way many well-meaning people make it sound that you get one chance- one moment- to discover God, to be saved, and then-boom!- over. You're done. All is well and you have no need to grow in faith.
