existentialist therapy without meaninglessness

So, I am taking this really difficult Psychology class. Reading the book has really been eye opening theologically, oddly enough. We are talking about existentialist therapy, or a kind of approach that sees humans as free, rational people capable of making change in their own lives….similarly to Catholic Social Thought and the dignity of all ( Read more... )

Yeah, I agree. I just don't know if the wanting to go off somewhere is a way of not being present with reality right now- not dealing with the extream stress of graduate classes and changing family life, etc. I do think I will look more seriously into working overseas after I graduate and might actually be qualified.

We'll see, though. Yeah, I probably talk myself out of a lot of things because they scare me, or because I am slightly insane- it took a long time to move out and go to college, let alone move across state. I know I CAN do it, it's the doing it that's the hard part. :)
