Maybe Julian saw Sebby getting picked on, and tried to save him. But in the process tripped (he can hardly see anything far away, mind you), his charm back fired, and got the attention turned on to himself, and off Sebby. That as "Save-The-Day" as Julian gets.

I thought so myself. XD And yes, he'd probably get up and run. Maybe to where ever Sebby was, and of course be all "Phew! It was a good thing we got out of there. *huffandpuff*"

Preston could've been one of the horrible Slytherin bullies who Julian tried to save Sebby from?

And as for Andra- let's just say that Julian would adore her! He would (of course) talk and talk and talk to her until his jaw was sore and she had opened up. She seems absolutely wonderful! Julian (if you hadn't noticed) is rather sensitive about his poor wandwork, and he's pretty easily spooked. It seems like Andra would not bother him at all about that. How they could've met? If she was in a spare classroom when she brewed the potion that made her cauldron blow up, Julian might've gotten lost and stumbled upon her. He certainly would've given her a hand!

Awww, Andra loves it when people really try to get her to open up, and those are the types she really forms the tightest bonds with. :) So that sounds great! I think that the whole cauldron explosion sounds good, she was definitely not in class when it happened (or else her nonfear of Snape would be totally nonexistant -- I'm sure he'd hate her!). So she'd fully appreciate him helping her. ♥

Sure! It's obvious that they know one another, but HOW is the question! Maybe he accidentally mispreformed a spell and glued her legs together? Or some other misfortune?

Sure. Ok, what kind of relationship? She's his target for testing pranks; best friends (not likely); mutually; chummy chummy? I'll post a thread later tonight or early tom. morning with the 2 somewhere. And: when are you going to post the reprocusions of the potion? Or, could she just never figure out and in the thread he come clean?

-dies- So many thread! And she's not really his target. She just happened to be there that time. Julian doesn't fancy himself after being much of a prankster. He's more of a blusher, actually. He is very very friendly with everyone, but has few people who are very close to him. Chummy sounds like the summary of his life, so that sounds good.

Jory and Julian would probably know each other; they're in the same year and Jory's a Ravenclaw, so they've had classes together. Jory would definitely like Julian, I can see them bonding in Potions or something.

ah! Julian would certainly like Jory! They could be mates - who bonded over potions! From what I've read, it seems like Jory might not be as awkward around Julian, if only because Julian is too, and vice versa. Have you any ideas for their meeting?

Another one of my characters saffy_mayloski would know him, and quite like him. I shan't bother to go about their backstory elsewhere. Does Jory have a cat?

Yeah, Jory would've moved past the awkward stage if he's known Julian for six years. Well, if they had Potions together in their first year, maybe they partnered up? Jory's a quiet kid, but if he realizes someone's got similar interests to his (i.e. Potions), he can get pretty talkative. Which no doubt led to Jory (or both of them) getting into trouble with Snape, one of his unlucky habits, heh.

And aye, he would know Saffron, as they're both Ravenclaws. It seems like they'd get along real well, since he's got an obsessive streak and he likes talkative types, being so quiet. He hasn't got a cat, though, sorry. XP I can't think of any meeting idea for these two, other than bumping into one another in the common room.

Ah ha! That sounds brilliant! Partners it is. Julian loves potions, and can ramble on for ages about it, so yes, they would probably get in trouble with Snape. Maybe they got detention, that this why Julian is now so fearful of Snape?

Well, if he had had a cat, Saffy could've transfigured it into a salmon, but since he doesn't, I'll bet I can think something odd up, rather than just bumping into one another. -thinks- Maybe while practicing something for DADA, she missed and got Jory? Then they had a talk about the sodding class, at the very least how Saffron thinks it's rubbish. Have you threaded yet? Would you like to? Possibly with Saffy, she hasn't any threads yet!
