Nearly a week later I still can't stop thinking about her. It's just a tragedy.

*hugs* Its so hard to loose a friend who is so young. Just thinking about it really puts things into perspective. And you never forget.

And happy birthday! Congrats to the boy and the job and new apartment.

It totally was an eye-opener...even from a health stand point. It's funny to think that before modern medicine, people never took the survival of a child for granted; now we all assume that kids will grow up and lead a long life. I'm wondering if more people shouldn't be screened for heart abnormalities; it seems like there's more an more reports of fatal arrythmias all the time.

Thanks! It's surreal to think how things have changed since this time last year. :)
