His search was fruitless to say the least, so he did the most logical thing an Arion should do; he barged into Jules' room and rant.
He violently opened the door (since when did the door knob get that high, though?) and, instead of seeing his best friend, he saw this weird man that looked like his best friend reading a book in his room. Arion wouldn't stand for this! So, he wasted no time in stomping his foot and glaring at him.
"Who are you and what did you do to Jules!?"

This someone, happened to be tiny and pretty and vaguely endearing in a way that Jules couldn't quite place, however, so he decided to humor him for now. It was probably just someone's lost, obnoxious cousin, in any case.
"I'm Jules de Ferrier, if that's who you're looking for," he said, leaning forward a bit to get on the intruder's level and resisting the urge to come up with some cutesy nickname like his mother would. "Do you need something?"

Then, he mentioned his name. Arion made a face. A snarky, disbelieving face. "You can't be Jules. Jules looks like you, except with shorter hair. He's around my age and height. Now where is he?"

Well, if this child was related to the family, it was a good idea for Jules to look out for him. Besides being wickedly adorable, it would also help him to get on the good side of the right people. (...unless he was as well-liked as Gilbert; then there would be a problem.)
Well, he was certainly adorable at least.
"How about this: we can sit down and have some tea, and I'll help you figure out how to find who you're looking for. What's your name?"
