Late night was not a time that Rosemariné was particularly fond of. One might expect him to enjoy the quiet and calm that it brought, which he certainly did, but when work forced him to stay up for hours after dark, he began to get uneasy. Arion entered the room with a smirk. Before greeting the older version of him (he knew it was him--Jules told him), he scanned the room first. Hey, it wasn't half bad! He couldn't see the source, but that voice sounded young, Rosemariné noted. How haughty of this child to think that he could bother him whenever he wanted. "It's far past the evening, you know, and I can't imagine that whatever you have to tell me is so important that it can't wait until tomorrow," Rosemariné said, irritated. "And how on earth did you manage to sneak out of your room? I'll need to give your supervisor a strict talking to." Nonetheless, it was his duty to help those students that came to him, so he motioned for the child to come closer.

Oh, so he hasn't noticed him yet? "It's nothing important. I just wanted to talk to you... and Jules told me that my supervisor resigned two years ago."

Arion decided to play along and follow him, smiling. Once he was near enough, he bowed politely, waiting to see how he'd react.

Jules had told this brat to see him? And at this time? What was wrong with him? "Don't refer to Jules so familiarly," he said, getting more irritated by the minute.

Finally, the boy stepped out of the shadows. He looked just like... Rosemariné's eyes widened; he was looking at someone who was identical to the way he looked just a few years ago. "I need a drink," he mumbled faintly.
