yup. feeling good. awesome songs and chocolate will do that. plus I've got a good feeling that life will stop sucking very soon, possibly with the beginning of second semester. Fencing season is going to start soon enough and I get to prove myself (really mainly to myself, I have self-derogatory tendencies here) and just have some fun. Theres going

There is no possible good reason for someone not to "earn" good treatment from you. As long as you don't make it impossible, it's a perfectly good way to discern people who are worth your time or not.

Basically what I'm saying is, if you're resolved to not make people earn your respect, that's fine, but if you fail at making that resolution, I wouldn't worry about it, since you've already got the right idea.
