I lost Syracuse on the first day. I figured they presented Duke with match-ups that could be favorable to an upset. Little did I know they wouldn't even get past Vermont (even though they were one of those trendy upset favorites).
I don't remember how vigorously I might've defended the SEC, but I don't think I ever contended that they were better than the ACC or anything of the like.
Well, three-of-four last night isn't too bad. Should've figured Texas Tech would return to Earth sometime soon. They were a team I could see losing BAD on the first day... or going on a run, like they did.
I think UNC is going to win it all... have from the beginning. Roy will finally get his.
I think Roy is an overrated douchebag who should be doomed to a life of not being good enough, similar to Parcels, since he pulled a Parcels and fucked his team over on the biggest stage by flirting with NC (as Parcels did the Pats with the Jets during superbowl week).
I think the fact that UNC was crushed by a mediocre Tech team that was questionably coached says a lot about their chances...if they have to play the Blue Devils away from home, they'll lose just like they did in the regular season.
I never like Syracuse, either...just because their coach is in that Bob Huggins/Eddie Sutton group of recruiting anyone who will play for a year whether they go to class or not...
I think you just said the SEC isn't all that bad when I called them a mid-major...if they had an SEC-Conference USA challenge similar to ACC-Big Ten, then the SEC would definitely be the Big Ten.
