Git 'R Done!!

So, whilst here in Nashville visiting my Dad with my brothers, we got to talking about the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. None of us had seen the full thing, so we decided to rent it. I'm glad we did. If you have yet to see this show, you are really missing out. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour consists of four "redneck" comedians: Ron White, Jeff ( Read more... )

I've seen this on Comedy Central. I agree with what you said about the comedians. Ron White and Larry were the funniest. I'm not really too much of a Jeff Foxworthy fan. The Git 'R Done! thing has become sort of popular around here. Rednecks like to put the saying on the windshields of their dirty ol' trucks.

I like to say it to my buddies when we're out in Buckhead and we see a hot girl. :)

I love Ron White. He's so hiliarious. And I don't know how drunk he actually gets while doing stand-up, but damn if it doesn't seem to work fabulously for him. The other day I was in a Target and I saw that he actually has a CD of his act. If I didn't have this DVD I might have been tempted.

Larry the Cable Guy is gold as well. The bit where he's talking about the eatin' britches had me on the floor. One of the things I like about him is that he puts on this total hayseed act but you just know he's really intelligent, otherwise he wouldn't be so funny.

You have fine taste in comedy, sir.

Favorite Ron White line from the DVD:

I do have a prior DWI, but that charge is bogus. Apparently, they were pulling over every car on that particular sidewalk that evening... that's profiling!

Favorite Larry line:

So, I was seeing this GORGEOUS girl for about six weeks... then someone took the binoculars out of my truck.

Of course, there's plenty more (and yes, the edible britches bit was hilarious -- Good thing they don't come in Biscuits-n-Gravy...).
