What A Girl Wants

Sep 08, 2004 19:23

I am such a little girl!

I have to get dressed for an... outing. I have a closet full of freakin' clothes. Yet, here I am obsessing over what I'm going to wear and saying things like, "I don't have anything to wear!" or "I'm going shopping tomorrow!"

What is wrong with me?

An outing? You mean a date? With Kimber? Ooh la la. ;)

Just wear that one pair of pants with that shirt that brings out the color in your eyes.

Perhaps a date... what of it?! ;)

Now why in the world would I want to bring out the color in my eyes?

Well, for your sake, I hope it was a date.

Do you have ugly colored eyes?

It was a date.

I have blue eyes.

Aaron has a daaate! Aaron has a daaate!

This is cute. I'm glad to know that boys do this. Of course the outfit totally depends on where you are going, but some rules of thumb always apply. Nothing too loud or flashy. Something simple and sharp with nice clean lines is always a winner. Black is nice...but not all black. Blue is usually a winner too.

I'll stop trying to help now. Except to say good luck and have fun!

It went smashingly! The New York Times says, "Aaron scores a hit with this one!"

I went with some nice jeans and a light green button-down shirt. I think it was about right. Not too dressy, but not slumming.

That's fabulous. It sounds like the outfit selection was perfect.

You're up early. Go back to bed!

I was rather pleased with the outfit. Why must we obsess over clothes? The world may never know.

i'd like to make fun of you, but i do the same thing. you and i both know that it's important to look good. that's the easy part. the harder part is balancing where to stop looking good. you don't want to out-do your date, or you do out-do her, out-do her on the apparrel, but let her have the good hair. or vice-versa. my advice: wear a bow tie. throw her off.

It is important to look good. People who don't understand this are purely delusional.

I didn't out-dress her, but c'mon... have you seen my hair? It's impossible to not out-do someone with my do. Heh.
