Okay, so I'm trying to figure out how the subject line relates to the entry... give me a minute, I might figure it out.
I always do my best thinking when I'm driving in the car by myself.
I think that a lot of people take their friends and family for granted. I know that there have been times when I've done this myself, although not many. If there's one thing that I think I'm good at, it's letting my friends and family know how much I appreciate them and how much they mean to me.
It's so fantastic that you realize how important the people in your life are to you. :) I'm sure that your friends and family are as equally fortunate and grateful to have you in their lives.
1. When is your birthday? 2. Are you going to Tybee? (hint: the answer is yes) 3. Isn't it the greatest when you realize there are people who genuinely care about you? I love that.
2) Unfortunately not. I had already promised my brother and friends I'd be here so they could stay the weekend -- they are going to a car show. Sorry to disappoint. :(
Y'all have fun, though!
3) It IS the greatest!!! Let me tell you, it felt really good when my youngest brother was in the hospital after his wreck and hoards upon hoards of people came to see him and our other friends who were there. It's times like then when you realize just how many lives we touch.
What a good post. Its refreshing to hear someone say that they count themselves lucky and that they know they have a good support system. You're a little ray of sunshine on my friendspage, lacrosseboy.
That last line sounds sarcastic but its not! I'm glad you came to LJ.
Other people really are the best material goods we get. I don't have any warm, fuzzy memories about things. Just people, people and more people.
Awww... how sweet was that!?! Thanks. I'm glad I came, too.
And I couldn't agree more with your last paragraph. People make lasting imprints upon your very soul, which is something you CAN take with you when you go.
I have fond memories of the black car that I wrecked, yes. That was my first... that was the car I'd dreamed about since I first layed eyes on it back in '94. It was pristine inside and out, with a freakishly strong motor (there are known variances among those engines in terms of power output).
Animals can be included. Yes, we will allow that. I have fond memories of several of my cats.
MOVE BACK TO ATLANTA, Dog! You know you want to. And you know better than to think it's just you. Anyways, if you move back here, it won't feel like that anymore.
I don't know that I'd feel any different there...there are enough times when I've just been visiting for a weekend and people couldn't make time...how would I feel if I lived there and they didn't make time for months?
Surely people would find time if you were here. I mean, on Sunday, lots of us went over to Mike and Khashy and Schultz's place to watch the Falcons game -- you'd have certainly been welcome then.
I know I'd hang out! Pete and I have hung out a lot since he came back. It'd be the same story with you.
Of course, I know you can't move back just for me. This isn't The Last of the Mohicans, for cryin' out loud:

Sorry, I'm fiesty right now.
I'm not that great. My family and friends are, though! Here's to them!!

Fiesty can be good times.

Nah, rather than fretting over the same question for 14,356,987th time, let me just be gracious and say, "Thank you." You're too kind.
Maybe I'm OK. :)
Yes, yes fiesty can be good. Though sometimes people get a little annoyed by fiesty.

True...you can take it with you. People would be so much happier if they just thought about that once in a while.

I have fond memories of a dog.
I had zero drinks on my birthday and feel most days like my friend network consists of me and me alone.

What's this with the editted for UGA? And if you're going to edit anything for UGA's benefit, you should at least spell edited correctly. :P
