9) ATL is my hometown now. And Michael Irvin is an idiot. Vick's play thus far has been mainly just sufficient... at times, spectacular, yes. The change in scheme from 3-4 to 4-3 is the key to the rejuvenation of that defense. The defense and the running game are why they are winning... and that's more than just Michael Vick. I'm not saying he doesn't play a key role, but he's not the only good player on that team.

9) You're on dope and Irvin is right. The scheme has nothing to do with it. They ran the 3-4 in 2002 and they made the playoffs and beat Green Bay. They ran the 3-4 at the end of last season when they knocked off the Bucs and Panthers. They have the same basic personell, except Coleman. The secondary still can't cover anyone. The difference is the offense is on the field longer, so the down lineman have time to rest and then can bring a more consistent rush. Whether Vick makes plays or not, the only reason Dunn gets running room is because of the threat of Michael Vick. Everyone is scared of the bootleg and the play action and it's opening up the middle for the run. Plus, when your QB starts two games going 8 for 8, it means you can't put 8 in the box.

Yeah, we start tailgating at 8am. Well, the other guys do -- Tim and I usually show up closer to 9:30 or 10.

We are in a parking lot right at the Southwest corner of the Dome. There is some white, abandoned building there at the front of the lot. Call me on Sunday morning and come meet us!
