[Point in time taken from canon] Chapter 48 of the manga, after falling from Lila's flying platform
[Background] Despite being a high school student, Hime is the mayor of Sakurashin Town, the only area in the world where demons and humans coexist peacefully. As her late grandmother was the previous mayor of the town, she takes her job very seriously. She organizes town events and regularly patrols the area to make sure any trouble isn't stirred up. She is assisted by the Hiizumi Life Counseling Agency, run by her human childhood friend Akina Hiizumi. The agency also includes the mind-reading cat-eared satori Ao Nanami, and the kotodama half-demon Kotoha Isone, Hime's assistant who is a super-strength oni named Kyousuke Kishi, and his little sister, Touka Kishi. Together, they fight crime and persecution to make Sakurashin Town the most peaceful place to live in.
Hime lost her grandmother and gained the title of Mayor at a young age. Akina and his family are bestowed with the power of "tuning", an ability that can send anything to the Otherworld, a parallel dimension where demons can live as immortals, instead of dying of old age in the "real" world. Many demons come to Sakurashin Town in order to be tuned, and thus become "dead" to the real world. When it was time for Hime's grandmother to be tuned by Akina's grandfather, Hime was deeply depressed by this. Her first act as mayor of Sakurashin Town was to ask the town's Land Goddess, Yae, to seal her powers and erase everyone's memories of her being a demon, so that she can see the town from the perspective of both a human and a demon. To cheer her up, Akina makes her a scarf to cover up the scar on her neck, a result of the sealing of her powers.
She is currently trying to stop Enjin Hiizumi, the vengeful spirit of Akina's ancestor that is inhabiting the body of Ao's older brother, from letting the Seven Pillars around the city from blooming into sakura trees. If this were to happen, the entire world would merge with the Otherworld, causing much chaos. Hime and her friends have a year to find a way to stop this phenomenon, while fending off the Demon Hunters Enjin keeps throwing at them.

here. [Personality] Hime takes her duty as a mayor very seriously and acts very authoritative because she wants to meet up to the expectations her grandmother, the former mayor, had placed. She feels that it's her responsibility to protect people, and patrols the town regularly to prevent crime. Once she has an idea to improve the town, she will follow it until she has it realized. She is very proud and stubborn, and isn't afraid to say whatever is on her mind about something. Despite her serious appearance and behavior, she is very kindhearted, modest, and honestly wants the best for the people of her town.
Hime is known to be a glutton and loves to eat, especially all kinds of noodles. When she's hungry, her behavior turns childish and she begins to cry and whine for food to her friends. Despite her incredibly large appetite, she is very self-conscious about her weight, and gets extremely angry whenever it's mentioned. Her weight is also one of the reasons why she trains so hard.
Despite her tough exterior, Hime can get upset or dejected quite easily. When she cries, she wraps her scarf around her head to hide her face. Since her scarf is a present from her crush, Akina, Hime treasures it very much and is very possessive with it. However, her desire to protect people is more important to her than the scarf, which she declares when taking blows from a giant monster to protect an old couple, which ends up tearing her scarf. She dislikes killing, and would rather try to beat some sense into people with the least damage as possible.
In a nutshell: Hime is a Type B tsundere who is very responsible and loves to help people.
[Abilities] Hime is a demon, though what specific type of demon is unknown. This means she is gifted with superhuman strength and agility. She is capable of swatting bullets away with her bare hand, and can jump to and from high places. Her endurance is also above average, as she is capable of taking several hits from a 3-story tall demon, though this doesn't come without injury.
She is skilled in the use of polearms, with her main weapon choice being a lacrosse racket, though she can improvise with any long pole-like objects. As her main weapon implies, she is also part of her school's lacrosse team, and is surprisingly average in it.

[First Person]
What do you think of your home world?
The town I live in is great thanks to me, but I think the rest of my world needs improvement. Badly.
If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
I would. I'm the town mayor; I can't just abandon my duties like that. A-And... [Twiddles fingers.] I'll... miss my friends...
If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
I am the ramen-loving mayor of Sakurashin Town.
Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do?
Beat him up. Stealing, especially from a mayor, is unacceptable!
You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
Accept! And when I win, I'll make them disband the gang. Delinquency is not accepted by the mayor!
There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?
Clean it up. ... Then find whoever is responsible for it. Littering and wasting food is a giant fat NO! [... Sniffle.] I could have eaten it if it wasn't raining...
[Third Person]
As shocking as it was to her, Hime was getting used to this weird city. In a way, it was almost like Sakurashin Town, since normal humans and people with supernatural powers could live together relatively peacefully. Keyword: Relatively. There were a few problems and conflicts here and there, but that's why Hime had decided to take it upon herself and patrol the city for any troublemakers. The best way to start this was to get a good view of the city, so that's why... She was standing on top of a lamp post, scanning the surrounding area.
It was almost like she was still a mayor, though she knew it wasn't the case. When that thought hit her, so did an idea. Did Somarium even have a mayor? Maybe... Maybe she could run for Mayor? If she did, she could learn how to manage a city, which in turn would make managing a small town much easier. If she was successful... she'd be even more admired by the whole town, and Akina would pay even more attention to her! Hime couldn't help but smirk proudly at her genius plan, and jumped off the lamp post, landing on the concrete with ease. Now in a good mood, she strolled down the street, thinking about how many posters she should make, and what she should say in the campaign speech she'll post on the Dreamberry.
"To the west of Sangenjaya~ All the shops close at 9PM although~ If we all~ Wake up early~ All will be well~! ♪" she sang cheerfully as she swayed her lacrosse racket to the beat. "Tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsun tsun~ Tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsu---"
The painful sound of hunger cuts through the song like a knife through butter. All this thinking and planning was making her hungry... Hime rubs her tummy with a dejected expression. If she was going to make a grand campaign, she'll need to fuel up for it. She changes her route and makes a sharp turn around the corner, instead of crossing the street.
"Ramen..."
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I miss playing tsunderes.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] The fourth-wall rule. Even if it's necessary for a character sometimes, there needs to be limits so that everyone can have equal fun.
