I sooooo want to go. I may be able to buy a plane ticket there, depending on the cost, but I will have tag Maya along. I would also need to find another mama to share a room with. Hmmm... I think it could work. I am really looking forward to it!! :D
ya, me too! I cant wait. My daughter may come, it all depends on if she can stay, how long I plan to stay in MN, etc. And it wont be hard to find someone to room with, maybe ask one of the mamas you know well if she wants to room with ya. it will be rad.
I don't really know any mamas, heh. :/ But I am sure I will be able to find someone to room with. My only concern is the money. But if there is a will, there is a way! I know I will make it somehow. :)

Man, I really want to go, but I don't think I can afford it. Plane fare is alot and I don't drive at all, so I can't even borrow a car. I wonder how much leanne's plane fare is costing her? I should ask. Babies fly free, don't they? I should really look into this cause I really want to go...I was going to last year with Leanne, but couldn't manage it. I wish I could drive, but I am terrified of it after almost killing myslef and my old roomate. If I can go, I need a roomie as well, so I should try and get together with someone. I wish my one bud would go, but everyone was super mean to her on girlmom about bottle\formula feeding and now she's afraid to post...let alone meet any girlmoms and that sucks. Oh well, hopefully I will see ya there..heh.
aww, really? Does she have an LJ? We could all be her LJ friends first adn then mention were girlmoms too! and there will be a ton of other people not even associated with girlmom! Do trains run from there to MN? If you start saving now, you still have 6 months before its time. it will be a blast, for real, and I super duper hope you can make it. but ya, try and have your friend post again, I wonder why there was so much conflict, hmm, or get her an LJ.

the gathering is at least two nights right? I'm sure there'd probably be gm's willing to babysit one night if you watch their kids one night. you know a lot of gm's offline right? That way you wouldn't be swapping babysitting with someone you just met in person (not that you would, just brainstorming lol). but then the people you feel comfy enough with to let babysit might be the one's you'd want to hang out with w/out the kiddo. hmmm...
hehe, yea. its confusing. I thought about taking one of my non-mama friends up with me, but it might cost too much, Id rather just have her stay home, but I dont know if that woudl work. need to talk to my mom adn jake. Its the 16th-18th but I hopefully will be out thata way longer, so I could maybe swap babysitting, but eh, maybe if the rooms were connected I could hang out in one room while sleping kids slept in my room, hmm, time to plan :)
