Go get a USB Flash Drive or two - You can get them at like Best Buy for 20 dollars upwards of hundreds of dollars. I got a 2 GB flash drive on sale for 17. Depending on how much data you have, you may need several. Check it out...it's a wonderous thing...

Like nonce-stanza said, save to USB drives, even walmart carries them and it's a quick save, or you can save to data CDs which is also fast. if you make CDs there should be a place in your computer that says you can make restoration copies or something like that, i know it pops up on my computer every time I start it. =) Good luck with the saving. love you wifey ♥

As everyone has always said, its good to have backup files. However, what you're describing sounds like your way past saving to USBS.

Isnt there a way that computer programmers can recover hard drives? I'm not really sure, but I thought there was.

How did your laptop crash? Is it a problem with the hard drive or memory, or is it just broked? Cause my computer had a problem with the motherboard, and it wouldnt even start. I called the guy up, he came and replaced it, and bingo all my shit was still there.

You might want to call the manufacturer.

as i'm sure you'll remember, my laptop crashed 2 years ago :-( just in time for me to lose all those pictures i had of the time we spend in MA together :-( the only thing i can recommend is taking lots and lots of new pictures, and asking around for any pictures people might have of yours. the beauty of facebook and myspace is that you'll have a lot of your pictures saved there. aside from that, not much i can help you with :-( here's hoping you don't lose all your stuff :-(
