Seriously! I want a pet pot bellied pig, they're so cute and gentle. Farm pigs in general are pretty depressing, since they're being bred to be eaten, it's so sad. :/
Aren't pork eaters afraid of Trichinosis too? And how are they not sickened by eating something that eats its own crap and whatever else is around. It's just nastyyyyyy.
I'm vegetarian anyway, which was a personal decision, but when I did eat meat I never ate pork for religious reasons and blech I don't know, after all of the studies that have been done, how can one eat pig?!!?!

How long have you been a vegetarian? I just remembered the other day I'm on year 6! woooo. Honestly, my biggest pet peeve (out of a billion, i'm easily annoyed) is when ppl give me weird looks and funny faces when I say I'm vegetarian. what is the fucking problem? am i asking you to cook me personal veggie meals? am I asking you to do the same against your own will/belief? it irritates me to no point. Kinda like how Jehovah Witnesses knock on your door and ask you to convert even though you practise other religions but they dont even stop and ask or accept that. It's kinda like that for me because people wont let me have my own beliefs and morals, they expect me to be like them, regardless. And its hurtful because I'm not causing any harm to anyone. I just go bout my business cooking quietly. fuck. the next person to say "why are you a vegetarian? beef tastes so good" gets a kick in the throat. :(

OMG I KNOW!!!! An old high school acquaintance IM'd me earlier today and we were speaking about this restaurant (Pei Wei) and he said he loves their lemon beef. I said I'm a vegetarian, but I'm sure that plate is great and that I love their tofu, it's firm textured and tasty, to which he replied, "EW!!!!! TOFU IS WEIRD!!!". Seriously? Weird? You fucking prick. Even after I fakely pacified you with your meat comment. Ugh!
Most people in LA are pretty accepting about vegetarianism and I know quite a few vegetarians/there are loads of veggie/vegan restaurants here, but it never fails, some idiot always has to open their mouth once in a while. It's so ignorant.
I've been a vegetarian for 13 years now, save the few times I tried new foods while traveling two years ago.
I also dislike when people say they're vegetarian and they eat CHICKEN and FISH. And when I order food and say NO MEAT they offer me fish and I say "No thank you, nothing with a FACE". lol.
