He didn't even know what time he'd finally managed to drag himself in, but it had probably been something around 5.

With a groan, the boy rolled over, pulling a pillow over his head. Bradin knew his mother wouldn't be waking him up this early, so why the hell was there yelling going one?

"Go 'way," he muttered, not fully comprehending through the haze of sleep and throbbing of his head who it was.

"You want me gone?" Lacy asked, crossing her arms and looking down at him. She knew he probably didn't mean it because of the hang over but that didn't matter.

"Fine. Bye, Bradin. Forever."

He pulled the pillow off his face when he realized it was Lacy.

"Baby, what? Sorry, what time is it." It had yet to register that he was in trouble.
