I guess I was talked into it, I made a still version of my
animated Jim & Pam theme. I have to say after all that animating for the other theme, this was pretty much cake. Okay, no, It wasn't cake, but it certainly took a lot less time.
And I like making these little banners, hehe.

- If you do use it, a credit on your userpage to
ladama23is much appreciated - When installing this mood theme, please upload the jpgs to your own domain/server
Instructions
This is my shortened version of the great instructions you can find
here on
crackified. If you're having problems installing, try going there first to troubleshoot. If you still have problems/questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
Everyone
- Download the zipped file here (804kb).
- Unzip and upload the jpg files to your own server/domain. Do not change any of the file names!
- If you're uploading to Photobucket, you might want to look into installing Flock which lets you batch upload
Basic accounts: to install this theme you can
upgrade to a free "plus" account, install the theme with the instructions below, then
switch back to basic and your mood theme will still be there.
Plus and Paid Accounts: You have two options, use the Custom Mood Theme Editor, or use the Admin Console. The Admin Console is much, much quicker if all your numbers and URLs are correct.
Using the Custom Mood Theme Editor:
- Go here, and under "Create New Theme" type in "Jim/Pam Still" (or whatever you want to name it) and click create.
- For every emotion, manually enter (or copy and paste) the URL of it's appropriate gif in the box next to it. You must also enter the dimensions (width=85, height=50) in the field boxes underneath every URL.
- Make sure to click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
Yes, it's as tedious and time consuming as it sounds, so let me once again recommend you use the Admin Console.
Using the Admin Console
- First, open (or have easy access to) the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file in the unzipped folder with all the mood jpgs on your computer (or copy the code from here and paste it into Notepad).
- Back on LiveJournal, go to your Admin Console
- Copy and paste this:
moodtheme_create "Jim Pam still" "by ladama23"
- and click "execute"
- You'll go to a page where (in green) in will say "Success. Your new mood theme ID is (some 6-digit number)". Copy the ID number and keep this page open.
- In the "adminconsolecodes.txt" file, find and replace (CTRL+H) "12345" with the mood id number.
- Also find and replace "http://www.hosting.com/" with whatever the URL of where you uploaded the mood theme is. If you're using PhotoBucket, the URL will probably be something like "http://img.photobucket.com/albums/a111/yourusername/jammood/". Make sure you're not including the last little "mood.jpg" part and that you have the right number of forward-slashes, etc.
- In the text file, Select All (CTRL+A) and copy. Go back to the "Success. Your new mood theme ID is (some 6-digit number)" page, paste the whole code in the admin console, and click "execute".
- You're done! Now go to your custom moodtheme page, find "Jim Pam Still" and click "use".
Credits & Miscellaneous
- Thanks to
amberlynneand
pamcassofor not being too afraid to request the still moodtheme ;) - I used Photoshop to make this theme, I also used part of this icon tutorial to make it a little more vibrant.
- The next mood theme I make will be: an animated full-cast theme. It's probably going to be a while down the road, so just keep your eyes peeled in the Office Icon community.
I hope you enjoy the theme!
