I love the texture of the trees and the angle of the road. I tried that once... but it did not work. The curvature of the mountian on top also gives it a nice composition to the whole picture. Excellent (as is often the case :)

yeah, that happens so often to me too. That is why I am hesitant to discard any image, unless it is badly out of focus or camera-shake... and then again, it can be surreal later :)

i especially love the top image. there is something about freshly fallen snow on trees that is just so magical. that was what our drive out of ashland looked like a few weeks ago. :)
