With 2007 so very very close, the new universal 9 year is upon us. A universal year is a broad overall energy that colors our experiences as a consciousness. How do you determine that it's a universal year? Is it because 2+0+0+7 = 9?

The universal year is the year added up. Yep...it is that simple.

That's beautiful.

I resonate with the number 9 for so many reasons. A lot of it has to do with my birth, though. I was born at 17:09 in a room ending in 9... there's some other 9 connection that I'm forgetting. Nevertheless, I've always considered it a lucky number for me. It is interesting that it has a sort of buddhist connotation, considering I'm gravitating toward the buddhist elements of philosophy.

Oh, and I was just thinking about impermenance this morning... about people needing to let go. It had to do with a conversation that I had. I'll post about it soon.

17:09 = 26/8 which is the most fortunate of 8 vibrations...the individual numbers of 1, 7 and 9 are energies that you embody quite obviously to me.

Yes, the 9 is very much aligned with the buddhist ways of thinking :)

Hi Trav! Yeah, you can use the images as the URL or coded format in the flickr site or just link to them in another way. If appropriate (I do not know what you are using them for) you could just say photo by: Shaena Langston, too, if you do not wish to link :)
