This really helped put things into perspective for me. Lately, I've felt so aimless at work, trying to sell things by making the advertising pretty. All the prettiness in the world isn't going to help a refugee whose father was blown up by militants, or help the children forced into prostitution, or people who have no homes, or anyone suffering

uhh anything from mtv is a crapshoot wendella. like they don't have agendas and corporate business partners in their faces throwing money to advertise + send this message and that. their mindless, empty programming alone cancels out anything they could possibly do that would invoke change. do u know how much those vj's make? piles of money...piles. they just like the attention + people's reactions in their favor when they post stuff like that. ick ICKKK. whatever happened to just giving, w/o labels attached, without MTV enforcing/promoting/branding anything "good" they could ever do. its not selfless at all- its disgusting.
