Ryutaro just stood in front of JUMP's dressing room, staring at the door. Some juniors that passed the room was loking at him with a strange look; probably wondering why he didn't enter the dressing room. Ryutaro closed his eyes. Probably he's just waiting, waiting for something to happen. A memory washed over him.
"Ryu-tan," a person said, glomping him from behind.
Ryutaro was startled. He turned around to face that person. "Chii!" he said. "How many times must I tell you not to do that? What if I have a heart condition? I might have a heart attack!"
"Pffft," Chinen said, glomping Ryutaro again. "Stop exaggerating. You don't have a heart condition, so you won't get a heart attack."
Ryutaro puffed his cheek. "But still, you don't have to surprise me like that every morning."
Chinen gave Ryutaro a peck on his cheek. "Gomen ne," he said, smiling widely at his lover. Ryutaro could just smile as a response.
Ryutaro was brought back to reality when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Ryutaro?"
Ryutaro turned around. "Dai-chan," he said. Daiki was about to say something when Ryutaro bowed. "Sorry for blocking the way," he said. He quickly entered the dressing room, leaving the stunt Daiki outside.
'That wasn't what I was going to say, Ryutaro,' Daiki thought.

"Kyaaaa~! I'm so tired!" Hikaru whined. "That photo shoot sure was tiresome."
"You just said that because you didn't get to pose with Inoo," Takaki smirked.
"Shut up!" Hikaru said.
"Hey, let's go to Ichigo cafe together," Yabu suggested.
"Sure," the BEST members said.
Yabu looked at the 7 members. "Want to join?"
"Sure," Yamada said as he went next to Takaki. Yuto and Keito, on the other hand, just nodded their head. Yabu looked at Ryutaro.
"Uhm, sure, whatever," Ryutaro said, walking towards the dressing room.
All JUMP members present looked at one another.
"Just give him time," Inoo said, and the others agree.
"Hey, there's a new cafe that just opened, let's go together," Yabu added in. "My treat."
Chinen jumped around JUMP's dressing room happily. "Yay!" he said. He turned to Ryutaro. "Ryu-tan, can we go? Can we?! Can we?!"
Ryutaro looked annoyed. "Can't you decide for yourself?"
Chinen's eyes began to water. "But..."
"You're such a girl, Chii," Ryutaro said, kissing the tip of Chinen's nose.
Chinen's eyes brightened. "Is that a yes?"
"What do you think, baka?" Ryutaro said, smiling.

"Yuto, it can't be that hard to choose a cake," Yabu said, his veins twitching. Yuto had been changing his decisions for the nth time now and it was making everyone annoyed.
Ryutaro was looking at menu. Unconsciously, he said, "Chii, wanna share-..." he stopped, realizing what he had said. The other JUMP members turned their head to Ryutaro.
"Ryutaro," Yamada voiced out.
"I..." Ryutaro felt a lump forming in his throat. He stood up abruptly, accidentally hitting the drinks with his hand. "Gomen," Ryutaro apologized and he quickly ran out of the cafe.
JUMP members looked at one another. "Someone needs to talk to him, Yabu," Hikaru said.
"Hikaru-kun's right," Keito said. "If this continue on any longer, it will affect not only Ryutaro's work, but also his emotional health."
Yabu sighed. "I know," he said. "I'll try talking to him."
"Nyaaa~ I can't make up my mind," Chinen whined. "Ryu-tan~"
"Hmm, why don't we share?" Ryutaro suggested. "You choose that one, and I'll choose the other one, and we'll share."
"We can't!" Chinen said.
Ryutaro looked taken aback. "Why not?"
"Because...because...because Ryu-tan doesn't like blueberry," Chinen's eyes watered.
"Baka," Ryutaro said, smiling. "You don't have to cry about that," he kissed Chinen's forehead.
Ryutaro swung the swing with his feet. He looked at the ground, tears forming in his eyes. "Chii~"

Yabu ran around the area, looking for Ryutaro. Finally he spotted the younger teen at the park. Ryutaro doesn't seem to notice when Yabu sat at the other swing beside him. "Ryutaro," Yabu said.
Ryutaro slowly looked up. "Oh, Yabu-kun, it's you."
"Hey, can we talk?" Yabu asked.
Ryutaro's response was only a nod.
"Ryutaro, you need to stop this," Yabu said.
"Stop what?" He continued pushing the swing with his feet.
Yabu felt a suffocating aura around Ryutaro. "Dwelling with the past," Yabu said softly. Ryutaro stopped swinging the swing. "It has already happened, there is nothing you could do about it but move on."
Ryutaro looked straight into Yabu's eyes. Yabu was taken aback for what he saw in Ryutaro's eyes. Regret.
"Ryu-tan," Chinen said while they were in JUMP's dressing room. Ryutaro looked at his lover. "I have a weird feeling today," Chinen added in.
Ryutaro furrowed his eyebrow. "What do you mean, Chii?"
Chinen shrugged. "I don't know. I just feel like something bad is going to happen today."
Ryutaro chuckled. "Chii, you're just thinking too much."
Chinen shrugged and laughed as well. "Yeah, probably." But he wasn't reassured though.
"Ne, Ryu-tan, my mom asked me to go grocery shopping after work. Can you come with me?" Chinen asked.
"Gomen," Ryutaro said apologetically. "I need to take Shintaro to the doctor later."
Chinen smiled. "It's okay, Ryu-tan," he said. "Family comes first."
"Yabu-kun," Ryutaro said, tears forming in his eyes. "He told me he felt something bad might happen that day." For the first time, ever since that day, Ryutaro cried. "I should have been there with him, Yabu-kun."
"Ohayou gozaimasu," Ryutaro greeted when he entered JUMP's dressing room. Ryutaro was cheerful that morning. Yesterday, his mother told him about the new cake shop that just opened and he decided to take Chinen there. It was his apology gift for not being able to go with Chinen yesterday. Ryutaro looked around the room, but Chinen was not there.
"Yama-chan, Takaki-kun, have you seen Chinen?" Ryutaro asked the couple.
Yamada shook his head while Takaki answered, "Gomen, we haven't seen Chinen around."
A few seconds later, Yabu entered the room. Everyone in the dressing room looked at their leader. They could feel the depressing aura looming around him. Daiki was the first one to break the silence.
"Yabu, what happened?" he asked. "What did Johnny-san wants?"
Earlier that day, Johnny had requested for Yabu to see him.
"Is this about our rank in the Oricon chart?" Hikaru asked.
Yabu shook his head. "It's...It's about Chinen," he said.
Ryutaro felt like his heart stopped beating when he heard Yabu mentioning Chinen's name. "W-What's w-wrong with C-Chii?" he asked, trying to hide his trembling voice to no avail.
Yabu looked straight at the youngest member of JUMP. His mouth opened but nothing came out. Yabu didn't have the heart to tell Ryutaro.
"Y-Yabu-kun," Ryutaro said, he felt a lump forming in his throat. "Onegai."
"Chinen...yesterday..." Yabu didn't know how to break the news gently to Ryutaro. He took a deep breath. "Ryutaro," Yabu said. "Yesterday, there was a car crash and Chinen..."
'Oh god,' Ryutaro thought.
"...Chinen is one of the unlucky by-standers."
"Uso," Ryutaro muttered softly. "You're lying," he yelled, running out the room.
"Ryutaro," Yabu said. Inoo just shook his head, putting a hand on Yabu's shoulder. Takaki was hugging the crying Yamada and Keito hugged Yuto, who was crying silently. Chinen was lose to both of them too. During the making of Ultra Music Power PV, both of them had fought over Chinen.
"If I were there, I could probably change something," Ryutaro cried.
Yabu took the younger teen in his embrace. "This is fate, Ryu-chan," Yabu said. "Your presence will not change anything."
"He was fine yesterday," Ryutaro said. "He was genki, cheerful. Why did this happen?"
"This is fate, Ryu-chan," Yabu said. "You can reminiscent about it, but never regret."
Ryutaro tightened his hold on Yabu as he cred to his heart's content. He cried hard, releasing the tears that wouldn't come out during his precious ones funeral. 'Chinen Yuuri, I'll always love you.'
