Memo to Myself

Remember the party song, "Pass the Courvoisier"? My brain keeps coming up with lyrics to "Antoine Lavoisier." If there are no French scholars out there, well, we're all better off without.

Can't help you with the song, but I wanted to let you know that I stopped at Coffee People...in the airport, of all places. :-)

Couldn't do the Black Tiger shake as I'm not really fond of strong coffee flavor, but I had a Fabulous Screamer shake and HOLY GOD.

Yum. And I found a place about 5 miles from my house that sells Moonstruck Chocolates so that's next on my list.

Oh, M! I'm so glad to hear from you. And I've never had a Fabulous Screamer shake, but it sounds marvelously decadent. And I only know of one place that sells Moonstruck and that's the shop of the same name. Do you mind revealing where you live? Be as general as you like, of course.

Are you a tea drinker? There were some fab tea joints, as I recall -- and Coffee People on 23rd used to be one of them. Perhaps not so anymore.

And should you go so far south as Eugene, the handmade ice cream at Prince Puckler's is worth a trip. It's very close to the U., and I can heartily recommend the black cherry vanilla. Narcotic.

Ooh, I'm so glad you're back! I hope all is well with you and yours.

Doesn't bother me. Eagle Creek-about halfway between Clackamas and Sandy. The place I found that carries the chocolate is in Estacada.

Not so much on tea, either...but the ice cream sounds wonderful!!!!

All is indeed well, just been settling in.
