I like how Joshua Harris imagined Adam and Elanna’s conversation (Adam is the first man on earth while Elanna’s one of his countless great-great-grandchild). Elanna’s longing to meet her “soul’s match”, while Adam explained that she needs not to fret about it:

the 2 books are different... but they talk abt the same thing, magkaibang perspective lang i guess. the main message (for me) is "no to purposeless relationship" ...and joshua's points are so true. n ang nakakatuwa ndi lang sha puro godly stuff, may practical side rin. like if ur not yet ready financially, or if marami ka dapat matutunan, y enter into a relationship... stuffs like that
