I like how Joshua Harris imagined Adam and Elanna’s conversation (Adam is the first man on earth while Elanna’s one of his countless great-great-grandchild). Elanna’s longing to meet her “soul’s match”, while Adam explained that she needs not to fret about it:

“But it doesn’t seem fair to me” Elanna said, the words born of frustration tumbling

I ordered Boy Meets Girl and I Kissed Dating Goodbye online after reading your post (The one when you wrote you and Paul are gonna read it together) because I got intrigued and I have nothing to read since I finished Harry Potter already. Well, I received Boy Meets Girl first and tried to read the first two chapters. It was okay but I felt like this is not the right time for me to read it because I'm still not over the break up. I just can't relate to Joshua Harris' happiness when he starts to talk about Shannon and their courtship. It brings back so many memories. Haay..Oh well... :(

that's wat i felt too 5 yrs ago... parang "wow yah this is true" but i just can't relate. iba talaga pag naaapply mo i guess rather than just reading it. keep the book muna (and remember where u kept it baka magaya ka sakin haha), i think mas ok for u now ung i kissed dating goodbye :)

the 2 books are different... but they talk abt the same thing, magkaibang perspective lang i guess. the main message (for me) is "no to purposeless relationship" ...and joshua's points are so true. n ang nakakatuwa ndi lang sha puro godly stuff, may practical side rin. like if ur not yet ready financially, or if marami ka dapat matutunan, y enter into a relationship... stuffs like that

u know what, mejo nafreak out ako sa comment mo. parang... napaisip ako... omg nakakarelate ba ako k joshua harris kaya ko naaappreciate ung book??? haha, and the irony is, i think i know the answer deeep inside. heehee

o sha. nobela na to. God bless on your "journey". May you find Him there, sana maenjoy mo ung books *mwah*

Yah, hinihintay ko na lang dumating yung I Kissed Dating Goodbye. ang tagal eh! baka mas makarelate ako dun at mas maintindihan ko. masakit kasi para sa kin basahin yung boy meets girl ngayun kasi nasa grieving stage pa ko. although i agree with joshua's ideas, di ko lang ma-accept yung mga sinasabi nya. parang ikaw 5 years ago, in denial pa rin ako.

nafreak out ba kita? haha! sorry... alam ko naman kasi na masaya ka na eh. *winks* :)
