Hmm well Thanksgiving done, we did our best to make some memories. lol Shanda thanked me about four times for letting her help me in the kitchen, in the end she was very proud of her thanksgiving dinner. She was a big help and got some imput on just about everything, she even helped stuff the turkey, that led to a weird conversation about "that ( Read more... )

lol, it occured to me that people from outside the family or who don't know us well would have thought it strange that Chris and I spent our Thanksgiving with you. Glad we can be there for each other, as each of us in our own way is going through a semi-mourning stage. I was so glad to be included and get to spend sometime with at least some of my Grandkids (they are grand you know!), before I was contemplating spending Thanksgiving by myself and that would have sucked. Sigh maybe I better start saving for a house so I'll have a kitchen big enough to cook for company in.
