awwww the monkey bird, that's so cute! it is one of the things about when kids are small, the things they say, you don't want them to grow out of that stage. my nephew Dane used to say distapeered, for disappeared, and for hot lava he used to say hot fafta! i'm sure lexie loves spending time with grandma, and like you said, maybe she noticed that you needed a little time from her as well. :)

Kids can give joy and grief, but when that joy comes hold on with everything you got because it can overwhelm you, heal you and just darn make you feel the LOVE that everyone should feel. I know she will look back later and cherish these little moments you had with her because they help her though this tough world of life. I hope you can have many more great moments together and that she can always make you feel good.

hehe thats cool mom. Earlier in the week Lexie and Dakota were outside playing at the playground. I was sitting at the computer desk and there is a little tapping on the window followed by "Daddy!" hehe
So I opened it up and Lexie had a dead dandalion for me. I gave her a little kiss and we talked for a few minutes then she ran back off to play more. It was so cute :)
