Kyuhyun was desperate for some cash because he totally crashed his game console. If not because of that incident of him playing it for 2 hours straight, he wouldn’t be so out of his mind, eagerly seeking all sorts of ways to earn fast money. He already burnt a big hole in his wallet on Starcraft II and a new mouse.
Kim Heechul, who was a substitute counselor of his in school, suggested that he knew a way to make ‘fast money’, with a wink. Heechul even licked his lips making Kyuhyun shiver. Lucky for kid that the sub counselor, who was known for his weirdness, didn’t get the chance to tell him what the way was, because the man’s phone rang. Heechul smirked but answered his phone in a sullen voice, pretending, “Ya! Hankyung, what you want?”
Now Kyuhyun sat in front of his computer, typing away on an instant messenger service asking his cyber game-pals if they knew any way to earn some good, fast cash. At first, no one replied and Kyuhyun drummed his fingers rhythmically on the computer table, his fingers taking up speed and his fingers felt like they would break if he didn't control his patience.
The ‘ping’ sound that ringed in his ears sounded like church bells, holy as if an angel had descended. He quickly scrolled to the reply; it was a link to an advertisement online. Quickly, Kyuhyun move the mouse cursor over the link, replied a fast and simple ‘thank you’ before clicking it. The sender then typed back a bolded capital-lettered ‘GOOD LUCK, YOU’LL NEED IT’ Kyuhyun’s eyebrow shot up in curiosity but he didn’t care anymore, he needed money.
Click.
Cho Kyuhyun really needed 44800won.

The next thing he knew, he was on his way to a bakery. The bakery was very beautifully decorated; the walls were of soft pastel pink balanced out with white furniture and small pots of pink flowers here and there. The pastries look delicious but there was no one in there, not a single customer. Kyuhyun took a step back to check if the bakery was closed.
“No… the sign clearly says ‘open’.” He said to himself and stepped in, still wondering why the place was empty because the bakery was located in the middle of the town’s busiest streets. Once he stepped into the bakery, it felt so deserted, a total opposite with the bustling pedestrians outside.
“Welcome!” a high-pitched voice greeted. Kyuhyun instantly spotted the owner of the voice and the owner of the bakery too. It was hard to forget that kind of voice.
He nodded, acknowledging before he asked, to conform, “Sungmin-ssi?”
The man nodded, his smile looked exceptionally cute; cute enough to please fussy Kyuhyun’s eyes. And for a second there, Lee Sungmin’s smile assembled a rabbit’s. Kyuhyun certainly did not imagine Sungmin to look like how he was like when they conversed on the phone.
“Omo, you must be Kyuhyun-ssi.” Kyuhyun had called Sungmin regarding the advertisement but Sungmin didn’t recognize Kyuhyun’s voice at first.
Kyuhyun nodded again and walked up to the counter, where the pastries were displayed in the glass cabinet. He tapped the glass once, twice and he asked, “What should I do then?”
“Act.” The owner said, walking over to Kyuhyun, taking place behind the counter. There was a worried expressiong on Sungmin’s face. Kyuhyun looked up, “And you’ll pay me 50000won?”
Lee Sungmin nodded eagerly. Kyuhyun could tell that the man was from a rich family, easily spending so much to hire someone to act for him. And he looked too young to even open a bakery in such a great location.

No wonder he is paying me to do this! God, this tastes even worse than losing a game! But for the sake of the money…
Kyuhyun pushed the last bite of the honey vanilla cupcake into his mouth. The vanilla tasted too strong and the honey, he couldn’t even taste the honey. The cupcake itself was too dry, if there was a more suitable proverb for the situation, it would be; don’t judge a book by its cover. The only thing that made Kyuhyun take the first bite was the frosting; that looked so good and perfectly decorated.
When he spotted a pedestrian looking at him, he smiled at her and threw a compliment at the man behind the counter.
“This is so good!” Kyuhyun even licked his finger that was covered with the remaining of the pretty but deadly frosting. The girl and her friends then took a turn and entered the bakery, taking a table far from Kyuhyun but had a clear view of him too, giggling away. Sungmin gave Kyuhyun a thumbs-up from behind before he took the girls’ order. Kyuhyun expertly took a napkin and pretended to wipe his mouth- he spit out the awful piece of pastry. When he looked up, he heard squeals from the girl; this time squealing at the handsome bakery owner.
I would totally tap that…

“Kyuhyun-ssi, I thought I already paid you full, why are you still here?” Sungmin questioned the said man one day but Kyuhyun just ignored him and sat down at the very same place he sat the first time he came.
“Kyuhyun-ssi…”
“Hello, Sungmin oppa…” suddenly a few middle-school girls appeared at the entrance, all heads down but taking peeks at Sungmin, giggling and blushing at the same time. Sungmin moved away from Kyuhyun’s table and went to take the girls’ orders.
Kyuhyun just eyed Sungmin when he was sure that he wasn’t looking. Sungmin used the same cute tone to greet the girls before asking what they wanted. Those were customers knew very well that the pastries did not taste good; they were paying to see the cute owner. Well, at least the drinks were alright.
The girls noticed Kyuhyun looking at Sungmin and quickly looked away.
Kyuhyun wanted the girls to see who he was eyeing, up and down from head to toe.
He wanted the girls to know that he was his, soon to be at least.

"Kyuhyun-ssi, you're here again?"
Little did Kyuhyun know, he was visiting the bakery every day; just because the owner was cute and Kyuhyun was interested in him. Whatever Kyuhyun wanted, he would get, and nothing could stop him, not even bad pastries.
