Ear drainage and a new ped

I'm fed up with my pediatrician. I've really tried, but he's pissing me off.  I called him at 3 in regards to ear drainage and he still hasn't called back. that's after I called hte answering service again and they repaged him.  I know my kid isn't dying, but still!!!  Over three hours and I still haven't heard from him? What the heck

I think you should definately change doctors if you feel uncomfortable with the one you have!! I would be pissed off too if my ped tried to scold me about something.
You have a degree in cellular biology and genetics? Cool!!! I feel like I have had a crash course in genetics over the past six months learning about Lilly's (and mine) syndrome...it's really interesting!!

Yep, I do! Well, technically it say "Biology" but that's because the school admins were to lazy to differentiate, but my classes and stuff were all cell bio and genetics. We had three choices, Cell bio, Environmental, or Anatomical biology.

Genetics is so fascinating. I miss studying it because it was so much fun! I look at the boys and sit and do Punnett squares in my head to see the likelihood that they will both have the same features (like eye color). I'm such a geek!

Definitely change if you are uncomfortable -- Your pediatrician should be supportive of you and your decisions, he shouldn't be scolding you!!
