Went to see A Day Out With Thomas in Strasburg PA and it was great! We camped with SIL and her family and had a lot of fun in general. Kids loved Thomas and all the rides there and loved the trip to the amusement park (Knoebels ( Read more... )

Sounds like fun! We went to A Day Out a couple of years ago, when Becca was just 9 months or so, but my nephews were the perfect age for it. It was fun. Can't wait to see pics.

That does sound like a fun trip. I would love to go camping with Paty. How did the boys do? Do you tent camp or trailer camp?

We did a bit of both. SIL has a camper, so that was on the site with us. The boys though, slept in a tent with Joe and I. Well, Edward had one night in the camper with his cousins and one where we all were in due to weather (severe thunderstorms...that night the camper was attached to the truck just in case we needed to leave quickly for some reason).

It was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it. We didn't stay at the campsites a lot though because of the activities we had planned. I'd do it again. John was VERY clingy though the whole trip. He just never got all that comfortable with the changes in scenery.
