me = writing

Man, I can't believe it's been so long since I wrote anything ficcy. My arm and hand is still wonky---and I definitely need to concentrate a lot on my physio since I pretty much let it go due to my finals! Speaking of which, *cheers* I got a B and an A-! Yay! They were both super-intense and I stayed on campus for one of them and basically spent the night waking up every hour and the exam was so early!!! That was a comedy of errors---especially since the campus complabs were closed until after my exam and I forgot to write down the room! Praise God I was able to find this super-nice guy who let me borrow his laptop to look it up and we had an interesting talk about micro-financing. I'm considering going into non-profit accounting, so this is something I'll have to look into later.

I'm hoping my last exam will go as well---tho it was a killer one which I think I flubbed badly!

Now I have two more worries: blind-go! I have two ideas (one of which is half-written) and I'm hoping I'll be able to hammer them out. Leitbur's Neverending Road has also given me inspiration on DRSD, though we'll have to see. Considering killing off a chara but I keep wondering if I'd be taking the easy road by doing it. *sighs*

Discovering shoujo manga is interesting. They're cliche but they're still so fun! I just remembered why I loved Hana Yori Dango so much before! The main problem with manga though is that they're so expensive and so large in quantity, unlike novels. It's so easy to drop over a $100 on them and I finish them off so fast too! Maybe buying them secondhand online is cheaper?
It's reminding me that I have loads of Japanese manga and really I need to sell them or something or use them to learn Japanese. I think I need to go back to basics since I've forgotten all the verb conjugations already! *lol*

Finished my Christmas shopping! I do have a concern, though. I brought one of my bros a basic Swiss Army knife; last Christmas I gave him a miniature display katana (no, he's not big at all into sharp things but for some reason they're what I think to give him). It's not a big army knife or anything. I could have gotten a smaller, cheaper model but they looked insultingly small. I really don't think he's going to abuse it or misuse it, but it still feels very odd. I keep wondering if I should switch it with the bag I got for my other bro but in all honesty, I'm more worried that my other bro may misuse it (no, they're not gangster wannabes or anything, but he is out a lot at house parties with alcohol). Any thoughts?

Anyway, reorienting myself with Harvest Moon: Magical Melody and I really really want to buy "Another Wonderful Life" but I'm so so so broke! *sighs* Yosh! I'll just have to work extra hard to get a job this coming year! Definitely need to reduce my debt---last thing I want is to suddenly keel over and leave debt to my family. ;_;

Pray for me!

Ja ne!
