So thank the Lord that I did get a good job:  it's fantastic in terms of pay, benefits, and also the fact that the company's a household name.

But.

Of course, there's always a but when things sound too good to be true.  Right now the 'but' lies in the fact that I'm right smack in the middle of a job I have absolutely no idea of doing with the most

:) Accounting student on an internship? I'm currently an auditor in one of the big 4. I think its a worldwide thing - there's always a shortage of people who work in accounts and hence this causes the whole hands on learning thing. You get to really learn on the job - loads of practical experience. However, bear in mind - very high chance it gets stressful b'cos shortage of people + situation where every company needs accounts personnel = more work for those currently in the industry. The learning is hard at first, but don't worry, it gets better as time passes. Give yourself a few months - after that you'll be like an old hand at it
