It's an annual fic-writing effort in which authors are given prompts and asked to write a fanfic using a female protagonist outside a romantic pairing. It started out as a Harry Potter ficathon, but the last two years it has branched out to accept any fandom. Most stories have rather pronounced feminist overtones (which is how I found it - there's a reason Mr O'Neill is my avatar...), but that's not specifically noted in the rules.

This is so clever and brilliant and bright, such an insight into Lily's humanity, so poignant in its truth.
