I liked this part as well. Although the preoccupation of the characters with smoking did seem a little... ah, over the top at times. I liked the setting - it's different - away from the usual settings that HP authors seem to fall back on. I also liked the descriptions of Astoria's past and her time at school. Very nicely done.

somehow this moment (there will only ever be one, just this once in a back alley of muggle Edinburgh when he held her up against him and still didn’t know how her lips felt) is far more precious.
