So after weighing things I've decided to get the H1N1 shot. At first I wasn't but then with me traveling soon and with people I know coming into contact with people infected by it I really don't want to take a chance. And the gender is....
IT'S A BOY!!!!! Dex Patrick is still set to be born on April 1st. The tech said everything looked good and is progressing as it should. It was awesome and very emotional the whole thing. Got to see all four chambers of his heart, the spine, the cerebellum, arms, legs, ribs....the whole shebang! I was sad Jeff couldn't be there for it; as was he. ( Read more... ) -

Went to doctor check up today. My weight is up to 189 and the doc wants me to talk to a nutritionist. She had me down to only gain 15 lbs throughout my entire pregnancy and well I've already bypassed it by 2 now. It made me kinda sad to hear but what can i say i've only just started to get my energy back. But tried out wii DDR and it was fun. It's ( Read more... ) -
Vacation Here I come!
YAY i'm so excited. My vacation request at work has been approved! I bought my plane ticket and it was $20 cheaper than it was last time I looked. So I'll have Nov. 6th off that way I can get stuff ready for Jess' party. Then I'll have Nov. 16 - 25 (we get 26 & 27 off for thanksgiving) off for my trip to TN. ok so now i'm getting nervous about my next week check up with the doctor. I just weighted myself and yet again I've gained 6 lbs so now I'm 186. Which is fine with me I'm just scared of what the doctor will say. I mean my blood pressure is always good and I don't feel unhealthy; besides being a little slower to walk. Well my ma made it up safe and sound on monday. Yeah weather was pretty nasty but I guess it didn't mess things up too much. Still have to call the doc and see about the next appointment exactly where I need to be going. It's been great having ma here, I think that's the reason I've actually had a good night sleep for the past 2 nights she's been ( Read more... ) -

Just had my 4 week check up. I'm 11 weeks 5 days according to the doc. I'm 13 cm which she said is normal I guess; she said just don't think that the kid is further along than it is. I weigh in at 180 lbs; I gained 6 since the last time I was in. She wanted to get me in touch with a nutritionist because it worried her that I had just a huge weight ( Read more... ) -

The house hunt is kinda successful. We found a quiet neighborhood closer to my work (now we'll be 5 mins away) and Jeff's parents (they are like 5 mins away). We are still waiting to hear how things work out with the loan, the bank and of course get a contractor and inspector to check the joint out (it's a bank owned property). Doctors appointment went well. Now if only my head would stop spinning with all the stuff jeff and i have to consider; lots of forms and tests to choose from. I never thought that many decisions would have to be made when having a baby. I just figured go to the doctors every so often and then bam there is baby.
