Hope your cat gets well soon! I don't usually take my cats to the vet because they somehow have built-in recuperating system or something. @__@

Yeah, I didn't know at first too, because I thought only humans could get it. Apparently, dogs can get it too. x_x

Yeah he survived after being operated, but the doctor said it might come back after a month or so. =(
