THEY ARE ALL SO PRETTY HERE. FUJI, in particular, HAS TRANSCENDED PRETTY AND BECAME A GIRL. But yeah, everyone just gained 10 new levels of hotness w/ the new animation.

Oh god I'm so terrible at summaries, but um, basically they're all participating in the super posh Under-17 tennis camp, which used to be exclusively open only to high school students, but had an exception for this year. While they're there, these things happen:

* OPERATION BREAK UP, where U-17 coaches ask the boys to pair up, presumably for doubles matches, and then blindside them by making them play singles against each other. Losers drop out of camp. Silver pair proves how married they are:

It's the new series- based on the Under-17 camp arc of the manga. :) The episodes should be available in crunchroll if you live in the US. :)

Okay, all caught up now... Though I hope the manga doesn't end as abruptly as that. Kind of anticlimatic.

Though as I was watching the anime I did so want to see a Atobe/Ryo/Sanada triangle. Poor Atobe practicing so hard why Sanada is off smexying up Ryoma at the loser camp.

Atobe and Tezuka are both cheating on Ryoma with each other, so they really can't blame Ryoma for seeking comfort in Sanada's manly arms. Yeah, I really liked the SanaRyo moments. Strangely though, it didn't make me want to ship SanaRyo, but I do want to read friendship / bromance fic of them of them now. I want bromance fic of Ryoma and Kenya too, because of that cracktacular Ina Bauer episode. The anime was seriously lacking in AtoRyo moments, which makes me weep inside for my beloved OTP. The animators were really pushing the Tokugawa/Ryoma angle (and it obviously worked on me). Still. lack of AtoRyo =
