GREEN DAY/ JIMMY EAT WORLD/ MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

So, I left for the train staton late, cos everything just went WRONG. and I didnt have Jess's number, or she mine so I was freaking out about how the fuck I was gonna find her. despite the trackwork, and warnings of delays of up to an hour I got into sydney fine, and my cousin Janet picked me up at the train station and took me to her appartment. I re-did my hair and makeup, and repacked my handbag with out all the crap at her place, then listened to nimrod nimrod for a while to get me into the mood before walking back to the train station to get my train. On the way random guys sitting on the side of the road said they liked my bag. I said thanks :)
I got to the train station and realised that i'd forgotten the bit of paper I wrote all the bus shit on. But then I saw a bunch of people who were CLEARLY going to green day and just followed them lol. On the way I came up with the idea od texting everyone I knew from naptown to see if they had Jeesses number. Neety did <3. so I called her and arragned to meet up when I got there. It took us a bit to finf each other, but we did and it was SO COOL to meet her at last!
So we hung out for about 2 hours I think... maybe less. Just sitting around bitching about scene sluts, ugly makeup and how some people are stupid. oh AND the TOTALLY FUCKABE guy we saw. Oh man he was SO HOTT.
haha speaking of which I ahve NEVER seen so much makeup [mostly bad] in one place before. between that and all the back and the hair dye I felt so preppy. which is something new for me. I nlicked a ball thingy they were gonna chuck on stage for tre too. as did like a million people. Hope I dotn catch anything lmao. annnnd we saw the emo slayers. these guys that were walking arounf with big black capes saying "emo slayer" on the back. lmao what champs.
So yeah, hung out with Jess and some of her awsome friends for a while, and then they were all "we're gonna opned the gates early" so I ran back up to gate E [cos jess was at gate A] and called loz like a million times telling her to hurry up already lol.
she and rhiannon FINALLY got there, and then connie rocked up, so I got to meet her too, it was all super-exciting. Only I didnt manange to get pics with them, cos I ddint ahve my camera yet :(
so eventually we got in, anf there was mucho standing around [or lying in my case] while we waited for mcr. they FINALLY came out and were pretty good. They played you know what they do to guys like us in prision, but not to the end :(. It was so funny though, cos they played the first few bars of helena, and I was like "dammit to hell, shoulda known they'd finish with that not to the end" and like 5 mins later after gerald [or, you know gerard if we're being accurate and whatnot, god can;t believe how long ive thought gerals was his name. god damn WHY ddint someone notice and tell me?] stoped talking and they started it for reals the girl next to me's going "OH MY GOD!!!i LOVE THIS SONG" and im like yeah, thats why I recognised it like 5 minutes ago and you didnt. *cough*youstupidlittlesceneslut*cough* haha
so anyways, they finished, another big break, so we walked around a bit, then JEW came on and OH MY GOD THEY WERE SO GOOD! they;re so adorable and non-rockstar like with the cutest accents <3333 and he's like "and delighted we are to be here" and im like awwwwwww he said delighted lmao. they played pain, work, sweetness, bleed american, all the songs I wanted to hear. I was really pissed of at people not appreciating how great they are though... like wtf? They kick ASS. they was this chick next to me doing the LMAEST wierdass dancing during sweetness though. If that shits scene dancing then I want no fucking part of it... like wtf? arms waving freakin everywhere. I dont nedd that shit in my face.
Anyways, GREEN DAY. it was another big gap, and I ended up leaving loz and rhiannon and going it alone, cos I though they were about to come on, and im like fuck this, I want frontage. and I made friends in the mosh pitt, cos they thought I was with someone else, and im like nah, my freinds are being pussies at the back [haha its so true guys you were :P but i still love you anyways] so im goin' it alone. and they were like you can be our friend! and im like right on! they were so fucking awsome, they're from brisbane, and they flew all the way to sydney to see green day. and sheree is short like me, so we were all "god I hate these stupid tall people" too each other, and matt picked us up a few times so we could see which was super nice of him. I got their numbers at the end, so I shall have to text them some tiem <3
At one point the whole mosh was going in sync. God I fucking LOVE that feeling, when everyone is jumping at the exact same time its so.... intense. The other stand-out bit was when they played wake me up when september ends, cos everyone was swaying in time and singing along, it was just magical you know?
Green day so know how to put on a show though, I mean they had FIREWORKS. and just plain old fire. They also brought up some of the little kids [and i mean like little this kid was about 7] up on stage, and billie took his hat and was wearing it <333. It was so cute when they did that thing where they let people up on stage to play a song though, they were all these peopke with signs saying "I PLAY BASS!" and stuff, lol. The drummer they picked was really good though, and they had this girl who was about 16 and looked like she was going to faint on bass lol, and the guitarist was a 12 year old guy. and Billie's like "have you ever had sex with a woman?" and this kids just like "nooooo" and billie's like "well you're going to tonight". so true, that kids gonna be big shit at school on monday. Especially considering billie joe gave him the guitar. the kid was so happy I thought he was gonna cry <3333
There was only ONE song that I wanted to hear that GD didnt play - she's a rebel. They played everything else I wanted, from old shit like king for a day and longview, to bulevard of broken dreams. Which they played in the first encore [and was how I knew for sure they'd come back lol] they came back for a second encore though, which was sweet-as.
I stole a piece of the flooring too, and smuggled out out down my pants/shirt. was so cut though, after all the effort of stealing the bloody thing I accidently left it in the toilets at centeral :(
so heartbreaking.
annnnd thats about all kids. I've probably forgotten stuff, but that happens.
ohh and I got a pick of a kid on the train on the way home yesterday, he got a set list, like 4 pics and tre's drmsticks. I think he musta known someone..... but whatever, it was totally sweet of him to give it to me <3. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow when my batteries aren't so bad
