Frenetic Activity
The past week has been a time of frenetic, exhausting activity, both here at home and also at work. I am leaving on a nine-day vacation this morning to Chesapeake Bay. 28 hours until our flight takes off for Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
As most of you know, my husband and I both work within blocks of the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul where the Republican National Convention is being held next week. Security will be very tight and normal routes to get around in St. Paul will be barricaded. I work ( Read more... ) -

It’s been a rollercoaster of a day so far. Today is the 4th anniversary of my 49th birthday. (Yes, in other words, I’m 53 years old today and don’t feel a day older than 76.)
