Since my mum read my written diary last year, followed by a really annoying couple of weeks, I've been really self-concious about what I write (properly written) in case I have to deal with family members/ mum's filipino friends somehow invading my life (as usual) and indirectly/directly embarassing me (as usual) in front of people I know, in one

Gods, I know hey. I've been ranting about how someone (a potential Teacher) read my livejournal and came to the most embarrassing conclusions from it.
I've tried to shut up in virtual land too, more or less, and delete each entry a few days after it's posted.
What UNI course are you going for? I've been thinking about it recently too, and for the exact same reason - I've been in the Mountains 21 years, I don't want to make it another 21.
