[Lesson 21]

Jan 27, 2009 08:03

Well, damn, in all the excitement it's been a while since I've taken a good look at the sky.

Happy New Year!

It just figures requisitions would go down when I get a hankering for some Tsing-Tao. And I wish I'd saved some of those fireworks. ...Oh well~.

((Backdated to the 26th, whoops.))

Happy New Year to you to, Ed. Happy Year of the... well, actually, I don't know what year it is. Whichever animal you want it to be, I guess.

You and fireworks doesn't sound like a safe combination.

Oh hey now, I set off fireworks at the other New Year, and nobody died.

You seem to be implying that I'm incompetent. Believe me, when I injure people, it isn't an accident.

This planet's rotation period ended? Okay.

Depends on who you ask. Most people here were celebrating a few weeks ago... myself included. I like to celebrate twice~! ...Anyway, it isn't as if an orbit has a beginning or an end, it's all arbitrary.

Why? I don't see a point..

Rotation is what I meant, and it has significance among some cultures.

Why celebrate a new year? Hell, I dunno, as far as I'm concerned it's just another excuse to party. Parties are good.

...Well I was talking about revolution, which is why I was confused. Why would people celebrate a completed rotation? That happens every day.
