I managed to change the lightbulbs for my headlights today with just a screwdriver and minimal swearing.   Apparently they unplug first, and then you take off the rubber seal-thingy, and then there is this funky wire that holds the bulb itself in place with tension that goes *pa-tang...tink,  tink, tink....* into the unknown depths of the engine
