Woke up this morning with a new idea for a doublet and pants.  Found sources for fabric that I can't actually afford at the moment.

The fabric site that was most helpful has a section labeled as "shiny," I kid you not.  Yeah I had to look.

I can cartridge pleat, roll pleat, box pleat and smock.  I've figured out Elizabethan tall hats and French hoods, partlets and girdle belts.  I've appliqued, blackworked and corded.  I've ladder laced, spiral laced and cross laced.

WHY does the mundane button fly NOT MAKE SENSE!!!!!?
