Christmas

Shoot. I'd be answering that question with "Why do you ask? You aren't going to get me anything I ask for."

My family doesn't really give gifts any more. My folks send money and my sister and I send tokens because we're all butt broke. If I get more solvent, I'll start doing gifts for my sister and folks; my brother can go rot.

Heh! I have thought about that saying that on more than one occasion. However, while it's perfectly okay for the family to say crappy things to me, I'm not allowed that same courtesy. If I reply in kind or even point out the crappiness then I'm evil, mean and nasty, etc., ect. Family dynamics, gotta love 'em! Luckily, the gifting is limited to my parents and younger brother. My older brother usually comes up right after Christmas. He brings gifts of everyone except me and my daughter. So, I'm with you on the brother that can go and rot.
