I'm glad I'm not alone. This is such an auspicious time, not just for me but my decisions weigh on just about everyone in my life some way or another. I'm sure it's the same for you.

Oh yeah, and the poem is excerpt from an ani difranco song called "School Night" (in my rush to share my feelings I forgot to mention that).

Perhaps it's the influence of the holidays, makes things more tense and people are thinking of one another more, good and bad.
